The Field Service Engineer provides support to Armstrong’ customers at their sites located in and around the London Area. The Field Service Engineer will provide a service for maintenance, repair, commissioning, warranty investigations and service-related surveys on all Armstrong Products.

In addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are:

Maintenance, repair and investigations
Perform Field Service activities in line with Daily operations planning including maintenance, repair and investigations in a timely, professional and cost-effective manner.

Compile and issue professional, accurate and detailed reports of said activities to present to both our clients and the business.

Customer Service
Maintain company standards, professionalism, integrity, equipment and appearance always.

Role Requirements

  • Core electrical and electronic skills (apprenticeship trained NVQ/Diploma)
  • CSCS card would be a distinct advantage.
  • Mechanical appreciation and ability with willingness to learn new skills
  • Understanding of HVAC principles and environments/associated equipment
  • Flexibility as hours will vary drastically
  • Professional, personable character with strong integrity comfortable working alone and as part of a small team.
  • Good electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills with the ability to react to situations effectively (sourcing parts or alternatives from site).
  • Good written and IT skills
  • Health and safety awareness
  • Full UK driving license (preferably clean)
  • Must be willing to undergo a CRB check.
