A Message to our Global Communities from Armstrong Fluid Technology

An Essential Service to the Community During the COVID-19 Pandemic

 

Let me start by saying that I hope everyone is staying safe.

The global COVID-19 public health emergency continues to pose daunting challenges for families and businesses worldwide.

As Armstrong employees work to address these challenges, our core values of community, service, learning and innovation help guide our daily decisions and actions. In line with the core value of community, Armstrong is committed to safeguarding the health of our employees and partners, as well as our customers and their customers.

Within that context, Business Continuity Planning continues as ever, and we are implementing plans across the globe to ensure that our teams are available as needed. Our sourcing, operations and HR teams are monitoring and responding to regional changes regarding COVID-19. We are also working closely with our supply partners to ensure we have a dependable supply of components and materials.

We are fortunate to have employees around the world who are ready to serve, so that we can live up to our commitments and our core value of service. Even as we are carefully practicing prescribed physical distancing, we are working together closely, more so than ever, to be of service to the world.

Armstrong makes important contributions to infrastructure projects that are considered essential. We have a long history of supporting the construction and operation of hospitals, district heating and cooling, residential and commercial buildings, transportation facilities, pharmaceutical and food retailers. In large part it is because of this long history that we can offer our help. We have the capabilities and resources as well as the technical ability and applications knowledge to provide sound advice and direction.

To serve our customers, we are building out our global Emergency Response Network. This will involve global cooperation and coordination with Armstrong Service Partners, employees, customers, consulting engineers, as well as our Sales and Channel partners.  Our intention is to make a difference in supporting the efforts of others as they battle with this pandemic. 

The COVID-19 virus has spread rapidly, affecting people and communities in countries around the world. This has become a global problem. We are all in this together and we are all being called upon to do our part.

My message to the global community is this: We’re here to help.
